Pair of large Chinese famille rose jugs and covers, Qianlong (1736-95), the body decorated with floral sprays of peonies within a lambrequin border with a wide band of diaper to the rim interspersed by cartouches containing peonies, the spreading foot with a diaper pattern, the cover similarly decorated with a lotus knop; height: 11 in. (27 cm.); condition: restored.
