A pair of vintage South Sea pearl and diamond earrings, each with a round South Sea pearl, with a crescent below, pavé set with eight-cut diamonds, with a spray above, claw set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, topped with marquise-shaped diamonds, mounted in white gold, with clip and post fittings, with Italian maker's mark 293 MI, for Lazzeri Lina Ved. B A Ernesto, trading from Galleria Passarella 1, Milan. The mark was mark registered 21st October, 1938. Last active date 31st December 1971, circa 1960. Estimated total diamond weight 8.50 carats.
