Description
A Tiffany & Co., Art Deco, ruby diamond and platinum cocktail wristwatch, with a circular, white dial, with black Arabic numerals, signed Tiffany & Co., with blue steel hands, with a winding crown, with a curved crystal, surrounded by Swiss-cut diamonds in a circular platinum case. Each tapering shoulder is set with two rows of square-cut, calibré rubies, flanking a row of Swiss-cut diamonds, onto links, set with two Swiss-cut diamonds, attaching a black double cord strap, with a folding snap clasp. The watch is mounted in platinum, with a two part case, engraved on the back To S.M.R. from HH Nov. 28. 1942, numbered 65857, the inside of the case is marked irid and plat and has a crescent and arrow mark, and is numbered 45146, along with numerous service record numbers. The movement is signed C. H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, eighteen 18 jewels, 5 adjmts and is numbered 41325, with a crescent and arrow mark.
