Description
Of round form decorated in famille rose enamels with a large central roundel depicting a scene set in a mountainous and rocky landscape with two scholars dressed in long robes conversing at a table and flanked by their young attendants, a further attendant nearby carrying a collection of thin sticks, the table is set underneath a gnarly pine tree, the scene bordered by a band of key-pattern and a further band painted with a continuous scrolling branch, the back of the dish with a stylised blue motif.
