Description
A Belle Époque, Austrian, amethyst, pearl, diamond, silver and gold brooch, in a stylised flower design, with a natural pearl in the centre, in an air gap, with six old-cut diamonds, in rub over settings, on knife edges, surrounded by a scalloped edge of rose-cut diamonds, going on to form spacers and a scalloped border, infilled with pairs of fancy-cut buff topped amethysts, forming six petals, the diamonds are set in silver-upon-gold and the amethysts are set in gold, originally with a C catch, with an Austrian A mark and a wolf head with an A and 4, for .580 gold, with a later trombone safety clasp, the pin has an A mark and a combined HT maker's mark, circa 1910, in a blue velvet, fitted, Robert Wolf case.
