Chinese famille-rose soup plate, Yongzheng (1723-1735), decorated in rich overglaze enamels with a central pink-diaper ground square-lipped vessel containing a floral arrangement including peony and seed pods, the rim with an undulating band of flowering lotus and dogwood rose against a scrolling ground in iron-red.
