Description
Chinese famille verte bowl, Kangxi (1662-1722), with flared rim, decorated with three brightly coloured qilin giving chase amongst green scrolling clouds and ruyi heads, all above a ruyi head band to the foot, the inner rim with band of floral cell pattern against a red stippled ground with six cartouches containing crustaceans and bowls of fruit, the interior with grasses sprouting from rockwork, diameter: 19.7cm. (7 3/4 in.), condition: neatly restored chip to rim and break to rim previously rivetted
