Description
Chinese milk jug, Yongzheng (1723-35), of slightly bulbous form with attached ear-shaped handle, decorated in enamels and gilt with foliate scrolling panels containing en grisaille floral sprays of chrysanthemum, peony and prunus, against a light blue trefoil ground, the rim with a narrow band of black diaper and gilt scrolling lotus cartouches.
