Chinese rouge-de-fer teabowl and saucer, Kangxi (1622-1722), decorated in iron-red overglaze enamels with a vase upon an artemisia-leaf table, containing a stem of flowering lotus and surrounded by tropical flowers and foliage, the rims with a narrow prunus band and floral cartouches.
