Description
Chinese teapot stand, Yongzheng (1723-35), of lobed hexagonal form, decorated with sprays of flowers including chrysanthemum, peony and prunus around a central flowerhead, all painted 'en grisaille' in dark enamel, encircled by interlocking gilt scrolls and sections of blue diaper ground; the rim with four narrow floral cartouches containing scrolling lotus in gilt against a black diaper ground.
