A beautiful 18 Carat Yellow Gold & Silver (tested), Victorian, Old European & Cushion Cut Diamond Bar Brooch. A central Cushion Cut Diamond of approximately 0.30 Carats (un-weighed), with fourteen smaller Old European Cut Diamonds of approximately 0.035 carats each, Total Diamond weight approximately 0.79 Carats (as assessed in their mounts and un-weighed)
Crafted towards the end of the Victorian period, this piece highlights the classic transition where silver was traditionally mounted over gold to enhance the brilliant white fire of antique diamonds.
