Description
 English octagonal Lambeth delft plate, circa 1740, of tin-glazed earthenware, decorated in the centre with a keyhole cartouche in reserve, painted in blue with a perching bird amongst flowers and foliage, surrounded by eight further fan shaped cartouches containing floral sprays, all against a powdered manganese-purple ground.
