Description
Large Chinese famille verte bowl, Kangxi (1662-1722), the exterior decorated with four panels containing chrysanthemum and seedheads issuing from rockwork, against a turquoise diaper background interspersed with flowers and precious objects below a rim decorated with four cartouches containiing floral sprays against a cell-patterned band, the interior decorated with branches of prunus blossom, the inner rim with floral cartouches against a patterned flower head band.
