Large Russian silver gilt and niello tea and coffee set with a tray, Moscow, 1886 by Postnikov.
This beautiful and substantial tea and coffee set made in Moscow in 1886 by famous silversmith Vasily Semenov by order from the distinguished firm Postnikov.
Each piece is decorated in the niello technique with the most well-known views of Moscow such as the Kremlin and St Basil Cathedral.
Fitted in original case.
Marked 84 Russian silver with the maker’s mark ‘Postnikov’ in Cyrillic under Imperial Warrant.
