Outstanding And Rare Victorian 16ct Old Cut Diamond Pendant. This mid Victorian 16ct total carat weight of diamonds. The diamonds are set in silver, typical of the era. The spectacular Maltese Cross design. The large diamonds have cut down settings, the smaller stones are grain set. The bale is yellow gold. The stylised ‘flower cluster’ centre of the pendant has a principle central stone is 1.5ct diamond weight which is surrounded by 8 diamonds. There are 4 x 0.90 ct diamonds north, south, east and west of the central ‘flower’. The Maltese Cross ‘shape’ is set throughout with small old cut diamonds.
