Chinese famille rose barber's bowl, Qianlong (1736-95), decorated in the centre with branches of flowering chrysanthemum issuing from rockwork, the border with sprays of peony and prunus, diameter: 13 7/8in., 35.3cm; condition: sanding to footrim. A barber's bowl with this decoration is on view at the National Trust Lanhydrock Cornwall Collection, musuem no. NT 881025.
