Description
Chinese famille verte lobed teabowl and saucer, Kangxi (1662-1722), of moulded form with fluted rims, the saucer decorated with a central floral medallion encircled by an iron-red geometric band with small alternating flowerheads, the rim with a garden fence, bamboo, prunus, chrysanthemum and flowers issuing from rockwork, the teabowl similarly decorated with garden fence, bamboo and blooms of chrysanthemum and prunus.
Diameter of saucer: 11.4cm. (4 1/2in.)
Condition: Frit to inside of foot of teabowl and minute frits to foot of saucer
